Kiryat Ono

Kiryat Ono is a city in the central part of the country next to Petah Tikva and Ramat Gan.

Kiryat Ono was founded in 1940 and named after the ancient city of Ono, mentioned in the Tanakh, in the Book of the Prophets.

The status of the city of Kiryat Ono was received in 1992.

Almost all the residents of Kiryat Ono work outside the city, mainly in Tel Aviv.
